In The Game (ITG) Tutoring is a new tutoring program developed by Erin Hurdle Dubbs to serve the small, but beautiful, locale of Dorena, Oregon. Dorena is home to Dorena School, which offers Preschool to 8th grade general education.
ITG Tutoring offers educational support to grades K-8 for individuals with all backgrounds and abilities. The primary subjects we focus on are reading, writing, and math. However, we will tutor any subject where the student has a need, even social emotional skills!

Our Strategies
Scaffolding
Teaching Technique
Scaffolding is a teaching technique in which lessons are broken down into chunks where the student requires less and less support from the instructor. This method is proven to help with knowledge retention and retrieval, while also building student confidence.
